The Leica DISTO™ D3 is an intuitive and innovative hand-held laser meter for fast and easy distance measurements of length, squares, gradients and volumes at the press of a button. The D5 features all the basic functionality of the D3 but with a integrated colour viewer allowing you to quickly and easily target points outdoors where a basic DISTO™ struggles to perform. The D8 features all the functionality of the D3 & D5 but with a full 360’ tilt sensor and Bluetooth data transmission for sending data to a pda or PC or a perfect partner for Leica GNSS hidden point applications.
Introducing the most advanced laser measuring instrument - Leica DISTO™ D8 featuring the highest measuring accuracy (±1mm) over a distance of 200m and Bluetooth wireless technology. Incorporating a digital viewfinder with large colour display, the Leica DISTO™ D8 is the perfect inside and outdoor measuring. Bluetooth With intergrated Bluetooth technology, measuring results can be wirelessly and accuratly transferred to a PC, Pocket PC or table. All measurements can be inputed directly into Excel, Word, Access, AutoCAD and many more. Free Software Delivered as part of the package Leica are shipping with the Leica DISTO D8™ a transfer software which manages the communication between your software and the laser measure. The AutoCAD plug-in allows convenient planning and drawing with your AutoCAD software. Tilt Sensor Thanks to the in-built tilt sensor, you can quickly and simply measure tilts up to ± 360°. The tilt sensor also allows you to measure absolutely horizontally or measure past obstructions (horizontal distance). Digital Pointfinder The integrated digital pointfinder with a 4x zoom makes finding the target at long distances much easier. Its high resolution capability provides a sharp, crystal-clear image displayed through the large colour display. Height Measurement When measuring the height of a building or tree elevation with poor reflection points, a measurement can be undertaken with the dual tilt function. Point the laser to the lowest point, trigger measuring function and tilt to the upper point. Roof Slope With this function you can measure a roof slope of a house. Altitude Profile Measurement A simply method for measuring a cross-section if a hill or structure. Measure a reference mark and then measure each of the relevant altitude differences. When the measuring points have all been recorded in one direction, you can then determine a cross-section with the measured horizontal distance and the height difference. |
